Team full of stars win Le Mans
In the colors of Powerslide a star team with Jan Blokhuijsen, Bart Swings, Yann Guyader and Joey Mantia all records were destroyed during the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Take a large part of the world topskaters, put them on wheels of 125mm and leave them for 24 hours on a circuit. That was the winning recipe of the Powerslide team and broke all records at Le Mans. The large wheels brought the team include World Champion Peter Michael and Bart Swings a total distance of 916.5 kilometers (219 laps). That's 8 laps more than the old record which was also in hands of the Powerslide team. The fastest lap and also a record, was for Bart Swings, in a time of 5.32,505.

Le Mans is one of the largest inline events and hundreds of teams started. There are skaters who skate alone 24 hours. Of course with the necessary breaks. In the Netherlands we have a 24 hour race. In Biddinghuizen every year hundreds of skaters skate 24 hours for Kika.
